GreetKeeper plan picker
Enter the calls you expect in a month. You'll see what each plan bills with overage included, and which one is lowest.
Lowest bill at this volume
Professional
$149 a month, which is $35 less than the next plan.
All three plans at your volume
- Starter$49 plus 300 extra calls at $0.45$184
- ProfessionalLowest$149, with 250 calls to spare$149
- Scale$349, with 1,500 calls to spare$349
- Cost per call on the lowest plan
- $0.30
Each total is the monthly price plus any extra calls at that plan's published overage rate. Nothing else is added.
What the picker does
A plan with a small allowance isn't always the cheap one. Once you pass the included calls, every extra call adds to the bill, and at some point the next plan up costs less. The picker finds that point for you.
It costs all 3 plans at the volume you type, adds any overage, and marks the lowest total. Under the input you'll also see the call ranges where each plan wins, so you know how close you are to the edge.
The formula, in plain words
The switch point between two plans is simple too. Take the price gap between them and divide it by the smaller plan's overage rate. That's how many extra calls the gap buys. Add the smaller plan's allowance, and the next whole call is where the bigger plan takes over.
| Plan | Lowest bill when you take |
|---|---|
| Starter | 0 to 422 calls a month |
| Professional | 423 to 1,321 calls a month |
| Scale | 1,322 and up calls a month |
Computed from the published plan prices and overage rates.
A worked example
The picker opens at 500 calls a month.
Starter
500 calls is 300 past the allowance of 200. 300 times $0.45 is $135, plus $49, so $184.
Professional
500 calls sits inside the 750 included, so the bill is the plan price: $149.
Scale
Also inside its allowance, at $349.
The pick
Professional is lowest, and it's $35 under the next plan.
Now the switch points. Professional costs $100 more than Starter. At $0.45 a call, that gap buys 222.2 extra calls. So at 422 calls Starter still wins at $148.90, and from 423 calls Professional is cheaper.
The same sum for the next step: a $200 gap at $0.35 a call buys 571.4 extra calls. Professional holds until 1,321 calls, at $348.85. Scale takes over from 1,322.
A pick is only as good as the call count
When your volume moves around
Size the plan to a normal month, then test your worst one. Say you sit right at 200 calls and a busy month adds a hundred. Starter would bill $94 that month, still under the $149 Professional price. One spike isn't a reason to move up.
Move when the higher count becomes the usual count. If most months land past a switch point, the bigger plan costs less across the year, and you stop paying overage for calls you knew were coming.

Questions about choosing a plan
Which GreetKeeper plan do I need?
Starter bills the least from 0 to 422 calls a month. Professional bills the least from 423 to 1,321 calls a month. Scale bills the least from 1,322 and up calls a month. Those ranges come from the published prices and overage rates, and they're recomputed if a price changes.
What happens if I go over my plan's calls?
Each extra call is billed at the plan's published rate: $0.45 on Starter, $0.35 on Professional, $0.25 on Scale. The picker adds that overage to every plan before it compares them.
When is Professional cheaper than Starter?
From 423 calls a month. At 422 calls Starter still comes to $148.90, which is under the $149 Professional price. One more call tips it.
Is appointment booking only on the bigger plans?
No. Booking is included on every plan, so the picker only has to compare price. You don't need to move up a tier to get a feature.
Does the picker include annual billing?
No. It shows monthly bills. Annual billing takes two months off the yearly price, and it doesn't change which plan fits your volume.
