Pricing
Three plans, priced by calls answered rather than minutes spent. A four-minute call about a burst pipe costs the same as a forty-second one.
| Plan | Monthly | Calls included | After that |
|---|---|---|---|
| StarterFor a single location taking calls one line at a time. | $49 | 200 | $0.45 per call |
| ProfessionalBooking, routing and transfers included, not an add-on. | $149 | 750 | $0.35 per call |
| ScaleFor busy phones and longer opening hours. | $349 | 2,000 | $0.25 per call |
Why per call, not per minute
Per-minute pricing charges you most for the conversations you most wanted to happen.
A caller who describes the problem properly, gives an address and books a slot might take four minutes. On a per-minute plan that call costs you several times what a wrong number costs. Smith.ai moved to per-call pricing for this reason, and Goodcall charges per unique caller with minutes uncapped. Both beat the minute meter.
| How it's counted | Who prices this way | What it means for you |
|---|---|---|
| Per call answered | GreetKeeper, Smith.ai | Long useful calls cost the same as short ones |
| Per unique caller | Goodcall | Repeat callers in a month are free after the first |
| Per minute | Rosie, Dialzara, Abby Connect, AnswerConnect | The better the conversation, the higher the bill |
| Per location | Slang.ai | Simple for multi-site, expensive for one shop |

What counts as a call
A call counts when the assistant has a real conversation with someone. Very short calls, robocalls and calls it screens out don't count toward your plan.
| Situation | Counted? |
|---|---|
| Someone has a conversation with the assistant | Yes |
| A very short call, such as a hang-up during the greeting | No |
| A robocall or silent line | No |
| A call the assistant screens out under your rules | No |
| The assistant transfers to your mobile | Yes, once |
| The same customer calls twice in a day | Twice |
A transferred call counts once, even when it goes on to try your second fallback number. Transfers and routing are on every plan.

Pricing questions
What happens if I go over my included calls?
You keep answering. Starter bills $0.45 a call after 200, Professional $0.35 after 750, Scale $0.25 after 2000. Nothing stops working mid-month.
Is there a contract?
Monthly, cancel when you like. Annual billing takes two months off if you'd rather pay once.
Do you charge a setup fee?
No. AnswerConnect charges around $50 to start; we don't.
Which plan should a single-location business start on?
Starter covers 200 answered calls, which suits most single-phone shops. Going over 200 doesn't mean you should move up: at $0.45 a call, Starter stays cheaper until about 423 calls a month. Past that, Professional costs less.
Do unused calls roll over?
No. Plans reset monthly, which is why the overage rate matters more than the allowance.
