The cost side is not subtle here
A part-time receptionist in this valley costs more than in most of the country, and the calls that person misses while on lunch are the same calls a $49 plan covers. That is an uncomfortable sentence for anyone who has a good front-desk person, so here is the fair version: an assistant covers the hours nobody is there, and it does not replace the judgment of somebody who knows your customers by name.
