In San Antonio, half the question is which language

We handle English at launch and will not pretend otherwise. If most of your calls arrive in Spanish, this page tells you who to look at instead.

Handled

Caller

“I'm PCSing in six weeks and need the house re-piped before the inspection. Can you quote off photos?”

What happened next

  • Logged a re-pipe quote request with a six-week deadline
  • Noted a relocation timeline, flagged as time-sensitive
  • Texted the caller the address for sending photos

Two things shape this phone

The first is language. A large share of San Antonio's inbound calls arrive in Spanish, and this is where we have to be straight with you: GreetKeeper handles English at launch. We have not verified a Spanish capability, so we are not going to claim one. Dialzara includes English and Spanish handling today, and for a business whose callers are mostly Spanish-speaking that is the better answer right now.

The second is the military population. Permanent-change-of-station moves create dense, deadline-driven demand for inspections, repairs and services, and those callers call around a duty schedule rather than a business day. A 7am call about a house that must pass inspection in six weeks is a real job with a fixed date on it.

For the English-language half of that traffic, GreetKeeper answers at the hour the call lands, captures the deadline, and books or routes it.

Central Time

Central time, and a military presence that keeps unusual hours. Shift changes at the bases and the hospitals around them put a spike of personal calls into windows no front desk staffs, which is early morning and late evening rather than the middle of the day.

What rings here

A military city with a large and growing home-services market.

Home services around relocation

Inspections, plumbing, roofing and HVAC work tied to a move-out date. The deadline is the most important thing the caller says.

Medical and dental practices

A major medical center and the practices around it. New-patient booking is the value, and Utah's licensed-profession rule is worth reading even from Texas if you expand.

Restaurants and tourism

A large visitor economy puts hours, booking and directions questions onto lines staffed by people who are serving customers.

Recording and AI disclosure in Texas

Texas takes the permissive position on recording, and the honest caveat here is about language rather than law.

Texas is a one-party consent state for recording, though the legislature has been active on AI and the ground may not stay still.

GreetKeeper can announce that a call is recorded and that the caller is speaking to an assistant. You write the wording, and you decide whether either notice plays. Our reading of the wider rules, with the dates, sits on the compliance page.

What it costs, including the part most vendors leave off

Booking is on every plan, and the rate after the allowance is published.

PlanMonthlyCalls includedAfter that
StarterFor a single location taking calls one line at a time.$49200$0.45 per call
ProfessionalBooking, routing and transfers included, not an add-on.$149750$0.35 per call
ScaleFor busy phones and longer opening hours.$3492,000$0.25 per call

Questions from San Antonio businesses

Can GreetKeeper answer in Spanish?

Not at launch. English is what we support and we would rather say so than publish a language list we have not verified. Dialzara includes Spanish today, and their entry plan is $29 for 60 minutes.

What happens if a caller speaks Spanish anyway?

You set the fallback. Most businesses in this position route those calls straight to a person or to a dedicated line rather than letting the assistant struggle, and the transcript still tells you the call happened.

Does Texas need an AI disclosure?

As we read the rules in September 2026, no inbound duty of the kind Maine and Utah have. Texas has AI measures in motion and we are not describing them second-hand. We would switch the disclosure on anyway.

Can it handle a caller working around a duty schedule?

It answers whenever the call comes, including 6am and 10pm, and it offers the slots your calendar actually has. Nobody has to be awake for that to work.
