The cheapest AI receptionists that actually book appointments
GreetKeeper is our product, and it ranks first here because booking is on its cheapest plan. Starter is $49 for 200 answered calls, and every one of those calls can end with an appointment in Google Calendar or Outlook. Past 200, a call costs $0.45.
Headline prices in this category often belong to plans that take a message rather than book. Rosie is the clearest case: $49 buys 250 minutes, and appointment booking arrives on the $149 Scale plan. So the question to ask every vendor is the price of the first plan that books.
Dialzara starts at $29 for 60 minutes and prints its overage on every tier. Goodcall counts unique customers at $79 for 100. Smith.ai has a free tier for 25 calls, then Pro at $150.
Abby Connect sells one currency for human and AI minutes from $165.
How this was put together
Disclosure: GreetKeeper is our product. We compared six vendors in September 2026 on one question: what is the least you can pay for an assistant that books during the call? Each rival's prices come from its own pricing page that month.
What we compared
- The price of the cheapest plan on which booking is included, where the vendor states it.
- How a four-minute booking conversation is billed on each unit.
- Whether the caller's details and the time are confirmed before the booking is written.
- Whether the overage rate is printed, so a busy booking month can be priced ahead.
The shortlist at a glance
Billing unit first, because it decides more of the final bill than the headline price does.

How to find the real price of booking
Find the first plan that books, not the first plan listed. On GreetKeeper that's Starter at $49. On Rosie it's Scale at $149. For every other vendor, read the plan table on its pricing page and look for the word booking.
Then price your booking call. A booking runs three or four minutes because the caller picks a day, a time and confirms. A hundred bookings is about 400 minutes on a per-minute plan, more than Rosie's 250. GreetKeeper counts each booking as one answered call.
Last, check the confirmation. GreetKeeper reads the name, number and time back before it books. The caller then gets one text with the booking confirmation, and a reply with the opt-out word stops further texts.
Our own pricing, in full
Including the rate after the allowance, which is the number most of this list leaves off.
| Plan | Monthly | Calls included | After that |
|---|---|---|---|
| StarterFor a single location taking calls one line at a time. | $49 | 200 | $0.45 per call |
| ProfessionalBooking, routing and transfers included, not an add-on. | $149 | 750 | $0.35 per call |
| ScaleFor busy phones and longer opening hours. | $349 | 2,000 | $0.25 per call |
The short version
- Booking is included on every tier. Rosie keeps booking and live transfer behind its $149 plan.
- The overage rate is on the pricing page. Rosie, Ruby, Slang and AnswerConnect do not publish theirs.
- Calls are counted, not minutes, so a long useful conversation costs the same as a short one.
Questions people ask about this list
What's the cheapest AI receptionist that can book appointments?
GreetKeeper books appointments on its cheapest plan, Starter at $49 a month for 200 answered calls. Rosie's entry plan is also $49, but its booking sits on the $149 Scale tier. Dialzara starts lower at $29 for 60 minutes.
Does the AI book into my calendar during the call?
Yes. GreetKeeper reads your availability, offers open slots and writes the appointment into Google Calendar or Outlook before the call ends. Each number can book into its own calendar under one account.
Why does per-call billing matter for booking?
Booking conversations run longer than quick questions. A per-minute plan charges three or four units for each one, while GreetKeeper charges one answered call. Past the allowance that call is $0.45 on Starter, $0.35 on Professional and $0.25 on Scale.
Can I test booking before I pay?
Yes. Every GreetKeeper plan starts with a 14-day free trial with every feature on, booking included, and no card. There's no setup fee.
