It books the job, so you never chase a callback

A driver with grinding brakes rings while you're under a lift. GreetKeeper answers, agrees a day and a time, and books into your calendar before the driver hangs up.

Caller

“My brakes started grinding on the way to work. Can I drop the car off tomorrow morning? It's a 2017 Accord.”

What happened next

  • Booked Tuesday 8:00am drop-off, brake inspection, on the shop calendar
  • Captured: Dana Whitfield, 555-0142, grinding front brakes, 2017 Honda Accord
  • Transcript and a short summary filed with the appointment

A booked slot beats a promised callback

Plenty of answering setups take a name and leave the scheduling to you. This one finishes the job while your customer is still on the phone.

Think about how phone tag goes in a repair shop. You finish the oil change, wipe your hands, ring the number, and get voicemail. They call back while you're test-driving a Camry. By the third try they've booked with the garage down the road, and nobody did anything wrong.

GreetKeeper skips that loop. It answers every inbound call, at any hour, asks what the driver needs, reads the name, number and time back, and books into your calendar. Your customer hangs up holding a day and a time. You find an entry waiting with a name, a number and the reason they rang.

Booking is included on every plan, starting with Starter at $49 a month. Rosie, for one, starts booking on its $149 plan as of September 2026. We think an assistant that can't schedule is a message pad with a nicer voice, so no GreetKeeper tier goes without it.

An appointment you can act on without calling back

A calendar entry that says “service, 10am” is nearly useless. Here's the same capability on a dog groomer's line, late on a Saturday.

  • Who is coming, and a number to reach them on.
  • Why they're coming, in their own words, so “overdue poodle cut” doesn't shrink to “groom”.
  • The day and time your customer agreed to, read back to them before it was booked.
  • A transcript and short summary behind the entry, for anything the calendar line leaves out.

Caller

“Do you have anything next week for a full groom? She's a standard poodle and she hasn't been cut since spring.”

What happened next

  • Booked Wednesday 10:30am, full groom, standard poodle
  • Captured: Priya Raman, 555-0177, coat overdue since spring
  • Answered her drop-off question from the groomer's own notes

Getting bookings onto your calendar

Four steps, and your customers notice nothing until the last one.

  1. Connect Google Calendar or Outlook

Sign in to the calendar your shop already runs on. Those two are the direct writes, so your team sees the appointment where they already look.

  2. Describe the work you book by phone

Brake inspections, tire rotations, a full groom, a nail trim. The assistant answers the questions you train it on, so the better it knows your services, the fewer bookings stall on a question.

  3. Pick what should never be booked blind

Some jobs need your eyes first. An engine that won't turn over might need a tow and a conversation. Send those requests to a person or a message instead of a slot.

  4. Forward your number, then ring it

Call from your mobile, pretend to be a customer, and ask for Thursday. Then open your calendar and look at what arrived.

Where a booking can land

Vendors stretch the word “integrates” a long way. Here's plainly how five common tools connect: a direct write, our webhook caught in Zapier, or not yet.

ToolHow it connectsWhat that means
Google CalendarWrites directlyThe appointment is written into the Google calendar you connect. Nothing sits in between.
OutlookWrites directlySame direct write, into the Outlook calendar you choose.
ServiceTitanThrough ZapierNo direct write into dispatch. GreetKeeper sends a webhook, Webhooks by Zapier catches it on a paid Zapier plan, and ServiceTitan's own Zapier action writes the job. You build and own that Zap. ServiceTitan's Zapier app is an open beta, and tenant registration can take two business days.
JobberThrough ZapierOur webhook, caught with Webhooks by Zapier, which needs a paid Zapier plan and some field mapping. There is no GreetKeeper app in Zapier. Jobber offers Zapier on its Connect and Grow plans only.
DentrixNot yetNo public Zapier app. The appointment request reaches your front desk by email, task or sheet, and they enter it.

Where booking stops

Booking questions owners ask

Is appointment booking an add-on?

No. Booking is included on every plan: Starter at $49, Professional at $149 and Scale at $349 a month. You pay per answered call, and a booked call costs the same as any other.

Which calendars does it write to directly?

Google Calendar and Outlook, and only those two. For ServiceTitan and Jobber we send a webhook that you catch with Webhooks by Zapier, which needs a paid Zapier plan. Dentrix has no Zapier app, so that request reaches your front desk by email, task or sheet.

How does it know when I'm free?

It works from the calendar you connect, so that calendar has to reflect your real week. The best test is your own: connect a busy calendar on a demo, ring the number, and see what your customer gets offered.

Can it book outside opening hours?

Yes. GreetKeeper answers every inbound call at any hour, and a 9pm caller can book the same way a 9am caller does. If you run two shops, each number can book into its own calendar.

What if the caller wants something I don't book by phone?

Then your routing rule decides. The assistant can transfer to your team, or capture a name, number and reason so you can call back.
