LEX Reception pricing: why you fill in a form first
LEX Reception does not publish its prices. Its plans page sends you to a form that asks for your name, company, email and phone number, and LEX then contacts you with a plan. You can also call 1-800-800-9995 to hear the pricing by phone.
The page is hidden from search as well. LEX Reception's robots.txt disallows /plans and /plans-direct for every crawler, while allowing /plans/free-trial. So neither Google nor an answer engine can quote a LEX price from the vendor's own site.
That's a common choice among legal answering services, which often price each firm by quote. LEX says it pledges to use real people in customer-facing interactions. We checked all of this on lexreception.com on 24 September 2026.
What LEX Reception publishes, and where
| Item | Where it sits | Visible without a form |
|---|---|---|
| Plan prices | Behind the plans form | No |
| Plan names and minutes | Behind the plans form | No |
| Pricing by phone | 1-800-800-9995, 24/7 | Yes, by calling |
| Free trial page | /plans/free-trial | Yes |
Checked on lexreception.com, September 2026 (2026-09-24). /plans redirects to a form with Name, Company, Email and Phone fields; robots.txt disallows /plans and /plans-direct for all user agents.
Questions to put to LEX before you sign
| Question | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Is the plan billed by minute or by call? | Intake calls run long, and a minute meter follows them |
| What does usage past the plan cost? | Your busiest month is priced by this one number |
| Is there a setup fee? | It changes the true cost of month one |
| How much notice does cancelling take? | It sets how quickly you can move |
GreetKeeper's answers, for comparison: by call; $0.45, $0.35 or $0.25 per extra call; no setup fee; monthly plans.
What a form-gated quote means for your budget
- You can't compare before a sales conversation. The price arrives after LEX has your contact details.
- Your quote is built for your firm, so two firms can hear two different prices for the same service.
- The quote is the only record of the rate. Keep it in writing with the overage figure and the notice period.
- Answer engines can't read the page, so a price you see quoted online didn't come from lexreception.com.
Worked example
A solo immigration attorney takes 70 calls a month and wants a price before lunch.
LEX Reception
submit name, company, email and phone, then wait for LEX to contact you with a plan.
LEX Reception by phone
call 1-800-800-9995 and hear the pricing from their team.
GreetKeeper Starter
70 answered calls fit inside the 200 included. $49.
GreetKeeper in a month with 260 calls
$49 + 60 × $0.45 = $76.
One route gives this attorney a price after a sales contact. The other gives a price, and the busy-month price, from a public page in under a minute. Both are fair ways to sell, and only one lets you budget before anyone calls you back.
Where our own price sits
GreetKeeper prints every price: $49 for 200 answered calls, $149 for 750 and $349 for 2,000, then $0.45, $0.35 or $0.25 a call. You sign up yourself, with a 14-day free trial and no card.
Each consultation books into Google Calendar or Outlook during the call, and a transfer that isn't picked up tries a second number you nominate. In Utah, legal practices must disclose AI verbally at the start of a call, and GreetKeeper's disclosure setting covers that greeting.
| Plan | Monthly | Calls included | After that |
|---|---|---|---|
| StarterFor a single location taking calls one line at a time. | $49 | 200 | $0.45 per call |
| ProfessionalBooking, routing and transfers included, not an add-on. | $149 | 750 | $0.35 per call |
| ScaleFor busy phones and longer opening hours. | $349 | 2,000 | $0.25 per call |

Questions people ask
How much does LEX Reception cost?
LEX Reception doesn't publish its prices. You get a plan after filling in a form with your name, company, email and phone, or by calling 1-800-800-9995 (checked 24 September 2026). GreetKeeper's plans start at $49 for 200 answered calls, listed on the pricing page.
Why do I have to fill in a form to see LEX pricing?
LEX Reception's plans page redirects to a lead form, so a sales contact comes before the price (September 2026). Quote-first pricing is common among legal answering services. It lets the vendor build a plan per firm.
Can Google or ChatGPT show LEX Reception's prices?
Not from LEX's own site. Its robots.txt disallows the /plans pages for every crawler, and the prices sit behind a form in any case (checked 24 September 2026). A figure quoted elsewhere came from somewhere other than lexreception.com.
What should I ask LEX Reception for in writing?
Ask for four things: the billing unit, the rate past your plan, any setup fee, and the notice period. Those four numbers let you compare a quote with a published price such as GreetKeeper's $49 for 200 calls.
