What decides your MAP Communications bill

  • Talk time per call. A caller who spends four minutes on the details of a burst pipe uses as much of the plan as two quick callers.
  • Picking the plan for the right month. At 400 minutes, Business runs $536.50 and Enterprise $531, while at 100 minutes Business is the cheaper of the two by $160.
  • Messages that still need a call back. An agent takes the details, and someone on your team rings back to agree the time.
  • Busy months. Premium tops out at 500 minutes, so every minute past that bills at $1.28.

Worked example

A property management office takes 150 calls a month. Tenants explain the repair and the unit, so calls average 2.5 minutes, or 375 minutes in all.

  1. MAP Pay As You Go

    $49, plus 375 minutes at $1.37. $562.75 a month.

  2. MAP Business

    $179 for 125 minutes, plus 250 minutes at $1.30. $504 a month.

  3. MAP Enterprise

$339 for 250 minutes, plus 125 minutes at $1.28. $499 a month, the cheapest MAP plan at this volume.

  4. GreetKeeper Starter

$49 covers 200 answered calls, so all 150 calls fit. $49 a month, and the repair visits are booked during the call.

The office pays MAP Communications $499 at best for 375 minutes of message-taking. On GreetKeeper the same 150 calls cost $49, because the price is set by the call and every call fits inside Starter. If tenants talked for five minutes instead, MAP's bill would climb and GreetKeeper's would not.

Where our own price sits

GreetKeeper is an AI receptionist priced per answered call: $49 for 200 calls, $149 for 750 and $349 for 2,000. Past the allowance you pay $0.45, $0.35 or $0.25 a call by plan, however long each caller talks.

Every plan books appointments into Google Calendar or Outlook during the call and sends the caller one text with the confirmation or a booking link. Urgent calls transfer to your team, with a second number tried if the first doesn't pick up.

Every call arrives as a transcript and a short summary. Each plan starts with a 14-day free trial, every feature on, no card and no setup fee.

Reading a MAP Communications quote

Add up last month's talk time before you pick a plan. Your phone bill or phone system shows it, and it's the only number MAP's plans run on.

Price your quiet month and your busy month. The table above shows the cheapest plan changing as minutes rise, so one plan rarely wins all year.

Ask MAP for your call script and message history before you switch anything. You'll reuse the questions whichever service answers next.
