AnswerConnect pricing, explained
AnswerConnect publishes three plans on its own site, and the middle one is the one you want to look at hardest. Two hundred minutes costs you $350 a month plus a $49.99 setup fee, with $2.50 for each extra minute. Three hundred minutes is $395 with no setup fee at all and $1.85 for extra minutes. Four hundred is $575 plus $49.99, also at $1.85.
So their $395 plan costs you less to start than their $350 one, gives you 50 percent more minutes, and charges you less when you go over. It's labeled best value on their page and the arithmetic agrees with the label.
Two mechanics on their page deserve your attention, because you won't find many vendors stating either. Every interaction you have is rounded up and billed in one-minute increments. And your first 30 interactions under 30 seconds each cycle are free, which is a published answer to the short-call problem that rounding creates for you.

What to watch on an AnswerConnect plan
- The setup fee, which they charge you on the $350 and $575 plans and not the $395 one. Worth asking them why.
- Minute rounding. Every interaction bills up to the next whole minute, so if your calls are short you pay roughly 30 to 40 percent over your actual talk time.
- The free allowance that offsets it: they give you 30 interactions under 30 seconds per cycle at no charge. Count how many of your calls are that short.
- The overage gap between their plans. You pay $2.50 on the entry plan against $1.85 on the two above it, a 35 percent difference in the number that decides your busy month.
- That their published card stops at 400 minutes. Past that you're back to asking for a quote.
Worked example
A letting agency takes 150 calls a month. Around 40 are quick 'is it still available' calls under 30 seconds; the rest average three minutes. Talk time is roughly 350 minutes.
Rounding
the 110 longer calls round up by an average of about 30 seconds each, adding roughly 55 minutes. Call it 385 billable minutes.
The 40 short calls
30 are free under the published allowance, the other 10 round up to 1 minute each. Add 10. That's 395.
Growth plan
$395 covers 300, then 95 at $1.85. $395 + $175.75 = $570.75.

150 answered calls, inside Starter's 200. $49, with no rounding to model.
Rounding costs them about 65 billable minutes a month they never spent talking, offset by their 30 free short interactions. AnswerConnect is one of the few vendors that tells you enough to work that out at all, which is worth something when you're comparing.
Where our own price sits
$49 for 200 answered calls, $149 for 750, $349 for 2,000, with $0.45, $0.35 and $0.25 after. No setup fee on any plan and no rounding rule, because a call is a call whatever its length.
Our pricing page states what doesn't count: a caller hanging up before the greeting finishes, a robocall, a silent line.

Does AnswerConnect publish its pricing?
Yes. You get three plans with monthly prices, included minutes, setup fees and per-minute overage rates, plus the rounding rule and a free short-interaction allowance. That's more than most vendors in this market will show you.
Why is the $395 plan cheaper than the $350 one?
Because the $350 plan charges you a $49.99 setup fee and $2.50 a minute over, while the $395 plan has no setup fee and charges $1.85. Across a year at 300 minutes, the $350 plan costs you roughly $2,500 more.
How much does minute rounding cost me?
It depends on your call mix, and your short calls suffer most. Twenty forty-second calls is about fourteen minutes of talking billed to you as twenty. Their 30 free interactions under 30 seconds per cycle push back on exactly that.
Is there an AnswerConnect free trial?
Their page didn't state one in the pricing section we read, and we won't tell you either way. Ask them, and get your answer in writing alongside the contract term.
