Lawmatics automation usually starts with a form. This starts it with a phone call

GreetKeeper reaches Lawmatics by webhook and Zap, which means a paid Zapier plan for the Catch Hook. It is real and useful, and it is not the direct write we keep for Google and Microsoft calendars.

Handled

Caller

“I filled in your contact form on Saturday and nobody's called. I'm looking at a non-compete my old employer is waving around.”

What happened next

  • Matched the caller to the weekend form fill by name and email
  • Captured the employer, the contract date and what was threatened
  • Sent the record through Zapier so the Lawmatics follow-up sequence resumed

How GreetKeeper connects to Lawmatics

Three states, and we publish the one that is true rather than the one that reads best.

What Lawmatics is, and what its Zapier app accepts

Lawmatics is a CRM and marketing automation platform for law firms. Firms use it for intake pipelines, drip email, e-signature and reporting on where signed clients came from.

Its whole design assumes an inquiry enters as a record and then moves through automation. Forms are the usual entry point, which is exactly the gap a phone call falls through.

The Lawmatics Zapier app accepts new contacts and matters, and your existing automations can trigger from those. That means a call can start the same nurture sequence a web form starts.

Where the call actually lands

The Zap creates the record, and your Lawmatics automation does the rest without being rebuilt.

A completed call becomes a Lawmatics contact or matter, depending on how you mapped it. The caller's name, number and reason for calling map to fields, and the transcript link goes into a note attached to the record.

Because your automation triggers on the record, the caller enters the same pipeline as a form fill. Same stages, same emails, same reporting. You are adding a source, not building a second system.

Source attribution can travel too. Tag phone inquiries distinctly and your Lawmatics reporting will finally tell you what the phone is actually worth against paid search.

Connecting it

The work here is matching your existing pipeline, not the plumbing.

  1. Find the pipeline stage a new inquiry belongs in

Open the pipeline you already run. Phone inquiries should enter at the same stage as a form fill, or your conversion reporting will compare two different things.

  2. Point GreetKeeper's webhook at Zapier

You need your own paid Zapier account. The Zap begins with Webhooks by Zapier and its Catch Hook trigger. Paste the hook address into GreetKeeper, and each call arrives with the caller's name, number, the reason for calling and the outcome.

  3. Map fields and set the source tag

Map what arrived to your Lawmatics fields, then set a source value that says phone. That tag is what makes the next quarter's attribution report honest.

  4. Enable AI disclosure, then test with automation live

Utah requires regulated occupations, law included, to disclose verbally at call start. Turn that on, then place a test call and check the automation fired, not only that the record exists.

What this connection does not do

Questions about Lawmatics and GreetKeeper

Will a phone inquiry trigger our existing Lawmatics automation?

Yes, if your automation triggers on a new contact or matter. The Zap creates that record, and Lawmatics treats it like any other. Test with automation switched on so you see the emails actually send.

How do we stop duplicate records?

Match on email or phone inside the Zap before creating anything, and use a Lawmatics update action when it matches. Callers who filled a form days earlier are the usual cause.

Can we tell phone inquiries apart in reporting?

Set a source field in the Zap. Every call-sourced record then carries that tag, and your Lawmatics reports can compare the phone against your other channels.

Is Zapier's free plan enough to start the automation?

No. There is no GreetKeeper app in Zapier yet, so the Zap is started by a caught webhook, and Webhooks by Zapier is a premium app. You need a paid plan before the first phone inquiry can reach Lawmatics.
