A GreetKeeper number on your Wix site gets answered
Wix puts a click-to-call button in front of visitors. GreetKeeper answers what they dial. Wix Bookings is not written into.
Caller
“I tapped the call button on your page. Do you have anything for a cut and color next week? Afternoons are better for me.”
What happened next
- Service and preferred time captured, with afternoons noted as a constraint
- Booked Wednesday 2:30pm into the connected calendar and confirmed it aloud
- Summary emailed to the salon inbox, with the caller's mobile number
How GreetKeeper connects to Wix
Three states, and we publish the one that is true rather than the one that reads best.
| Tool | How it connects | What that means |

| Wix | Not yet |
What Wix is in this setup
Wix builds and hosts the site. Its editor handles the pages, and add-ons like Wix Bookings, Wix Forms and the contacts list sit behind them.
Wix makes phone numbers prominent. Click-to-call buttons, a contact bar and a mobile action bar all exist to get a visitor dialing.
Your GreetKeeper number goes into those places. It is a text change in the editor, and no Wix app is installed.
Where the call record lands
Wix Bookings and your Wix contacts stay untouched. That is the honest position, and it matters if you run bookings in Wix.
GreetKeeper does not create a Wix Bookings appointment, a Wix Forms submission or a Wix contact. Your Wix dashboard looks the same after the call as before it.
You get the transcript and the summary by email or webhook. Salons and studios usually send it to the front-desk inbox, so whoever opens up reads the overnight calls first.
The booking, if there is one, goes into a connected Google Calendar or Outlook. If your whole calendar lives in Wix Bookings, you would be keeping two calendars, so decide that before you switch the number.
Getting the number onto your Wix site
Wix editor, three spots. Publish when you're done, or nothing changes.
Update the click-to-call button
In the Wix editor, select the call button and change its number to your GreetKeeper number. It is the button most mobile visitors actually tap.
Change the contact details in your site
Open your business info settings and the contact page. Wix pulls the phone number through to several places from there, so check both.
Check the mobile action bar
If your site uses the mobile action bar, its call action has its own number field. Sites often miss this one and keep ringing the old line.
Publish, then call from your phone
Nothing takes effect until you publish. Tap your own call button, book something, then confirm it appeared in your connected calendar.
What this connection does not do
Questions about Wix and GreetKeeper
Can GreetKeeper book into Wix Bookings?
No. It books into a connected Google Calendar or Outlook. Wix Bookings is not written into by GreetKeeper.
What if my availability lives in Wix Bookings?
Sync Wix Bookings to a Google Calendar, then connect that calendar to GreetKeeper. Availability then comes from one calendar instead of two.
Do I need a Wix app for this?
No. You change a phone number in the editor and publish. Nothing is installed on your site.
Change the number on your call button
Publish it and ring your own site. Two minutes, no card.
