How to forward T-Mobile calls to GreetKeeper
T-Mobile gives each forwarding mode its own short code, plus a delay you choose. Dial from the phone, test it, then read the transcript.
The four forwarding modes on T-Mobile
T-Mobile publishes a separate short code for each of the four forwarding modes. Each one switches on with two stars and off with two hashes, so you can run several on one line.
| Mode | T-Mobile code | What forwards | Good for |
|---|---|---|---|
| All calls | **21*1 + GreetKeeper number + # | Every call; your phone stays silent | A closed week, a trade show, a line you hand over fully |
| Busy | **67*1 + GreetKeeper number + # | A call that lands while you're dialing out or already talking | A one-phone business at its busiest hour |
| No answer | **61*1 + GreetKeeper number + # | A call you let ring past the delay you picked | Daytime overflow while your hands are full |
| Unreachable | **62*1 + GreetKeeper number + # | A call to a phone that is off or out of signal range | Dead zones, flights, a flat battery |
Switch each mode off with its own code: ##21#, ##67#, ##61# or ##62#. The code ##004# resets call forwarding on the line to T-Mobile's default in one go.
Codes read on T-Mobile's Self-service & short codes page, https://www.t-mobile.com/support/plans-features/self-service-short-codes/, on 25 September 2026.
Set up forwarding on T-Mobile
Five steps, from copying the number to switching it off again.
Note your GreetKeeper number
Open your GreetKeeper account and copy the local number you picked at signup. T-Mobile's table shows a 1 before the ten digits, so write it down that way.
Choose the codes you want
Most owners set more than one. **61* catches calls you let ring, **67* catches the ones that land mid-conversation, and **62* covers the phone when it's off or has no signal.
Dial each code from the T-Mobile phone
Dial the code, the 1, the ten digits and the #, then press Call. For example, **61*15125550142**15# forwards unanswered calls after 15 seconds. Let each request finish before you dial the next one.
Test it from a second phone
Ring your T-Mobile number and let it run past the delay. When GreetKeeper picks up, ask for a booking. You should get the transcript, the summary and a text to your on-call phone within a minute or two.
Switch a mode off
Dial ##61#, ##67# or ##62# to drop one mode, or ##004# to clear them all. Your number never left T-Mobile, so nothing on your cards or listings changes.
Which T-Mobile mode fits your business
Say you run a mobile dog-grooming van on a T-Mobile phone. Your hands are wet and the dryer is loud most of the day, so set **61* with a 10-second delay. Clients hear a greeting quickly instead of a long ring, and GreetKeeper books their next slot into your calendar.
A roofer who climbs for estimates wants **62* too. Signal drops on the roof and on back roads between jobs. With the unreachable code set, a homeowner who calls in that gap still gets answered. You read what they need once you're back on the ground.
The busy code, **67*, suits an owner who spends the morning on the phone with suppliers. T-Mobile forwards the call that lands mid-conversation. GreetKeeper answers calls that arrive together at the same time, so a second and third caller don't queue.
Save **21* for days you want every call handled away from the phone, like a week at a trade show. T-Mobile's page says it stops calls reaching your number, so dial ##21# the morning you're back.
T-Mobile details that trip people up
Every forwarding code on T-Mobile's page carries a 1 before the number. Dial it that way, with all ten digits after it, and the code takes cleanly.
The delay lives inside the no-answer code. To change it from 10 seconds to 20, dial the whole **61* string again with the new seconds at the end.
T-Mobile's short-code page lists *43# and #43# to switch call waiting on and off. Test your busy forward with call waiting set the way you keep it every day, because that decides what counts as busy.
##004# is the reset. It puts forwarding back to T-Mobile's default, so dial your GreetKeeper codes again after you use it.
T-Mobile runs Scam Block on its own network (#662# on, #632# off). GreetKeeper screens robocalls and silent callers again before the greeting, and screened calls don't count toward your plan.
T-Mobile forwarding questions
What is the T-Mobile code to forward unanswered calls?
Dial **61*, then 1, the ten-digit number and #. Add two stars and a delay from 5 to 30 seconds before the # to set how long it rings first. ##61# turns it off.
How do I forward calls when my T-Mobile phone is off?
Dial **62*1, then your GreetKeeper number and #. T-Mobile forwards the call when the phone is off or out of signal range. ##62# switches it off again.
Can I turn off all T-Mobile call forwarding at once?
Yes. Dial ##004# and T-Mobile resets call forwarding to its default. Then dial back only the codes you still want.
Do I keep my T-Mobile number?
Yes. You forward your T-Mobile number to the dedicated local number in your GreetKeeper plan, one per location. Your van, cards and Google listing stay exactly as they are.
Dial **61*, then hear it pick up
Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial, every feature on, no card. Your T-Mobile number stays on your phone.
