RingCentral AI Receptionist pricing, standalone and add-on

RingCentral sells its AI Receptionist two ways. As a standalone plan it starts at $49 a month with 100 minutes included. As an add-on to a RingEX phone plan it starts at $39 a month, also with 100 minutes.

Past those 100 minutes you pay as you go at $0.50 a minute, or buy an extra minute bundle. Call time is rounded up and billed in 30-second increments, so a 61-second call counts as 90 seconds. Both versions come with a 14-day free trial.

We read every figure in the FAQ and disclaimers on ringcentral.com/pricing/ai-receptionist.html on 24 September 2026. The add-on price sits on top of whatever you already pay for RingEX.

What adds up on a RingCentral AI Receptionist bill

  • Minutes past 100. At three minutes a call, the allowance covers about 33 calls, and each minute after costs $0.50.
  • Rounding. Every call is rounded up to the next 30 seconds, which adds a little to each short call.
  • The RingEX plan underneath. The $39 price applies when you're already a RingEX customer, so count both lines.
  • Bundles. RingCentral offers extra minute bundles; ask for their price before a busy month.

Worked example

A landscaping company takes 150 calls a month, averaging three minutes each, so 450 minutes, and books estimates into Google Calendar.

  1. Standalone

    $49 covers 100 minutes, then 350 at $0.50. $49 + $175 = $224 a month.

  2. RingEX add-on

    $39 covers 100 minutes, then 350 at $0.50. $39 + $175 = $214 a month, plus the RingEX plan.

  3. Rounding

any call that isn't an exact multiple of 30 seconds adds a little more on top.

  4. GreetKeeper Starter

    $49 covers 200 answered calls, so all 150 fit. $49 a month.

At 150 three-minute calls, RingCentral AI Receptionist runs $214 to $224 a month by our count of its published rates. GreetKeeper Starter covers the same month for $49, with booking included.

Where our own price sits

GreetKeeper bills by the answered call, never the minute, so there's no rounding to watch. Starter is $49 for 200 calls, Professional $149 for 750 and Scale $349 for 2,000, with extra calls at $0.45, $0.35 or $0.25.

Already on RingCentral? Keep it. A call-handling rule forwards calls to your dedicated GreetKeeper number, and the ring count is set where the forwarding is set. GreetKeeper answers the moment the call arrives.

PlanMonthlyCalls includedAfter that
StarterFor a single location taking calls one line at a time.$49200$0.45 per call
ProfessionalBooking, routing and transfers included, not an add-on.$149750$0.35 per call
ScaleFor busy phones and longer opening hours.$3492,000$0.25 per call

Estimating your RingCentral minutes

Your RingCentral call log shows every inbound call's duration. Round each one up to the next 30 seconds and add them.

Compare that total with 100, the included minutes, to see how much of your bill is pay-as-you-go.

If most of your calls are booking calls, time a few. They usually run longer than a quick question.
