Half your no-shows never knew the right time

Some no-shows are people changing their minds. Others were never a clear booking. GreetKeeper fixes the second kind by confirming on the call.

Handled

Caller

“So that's Tuesday the fourteenth, half past two? Let me write that down.”

What happened next

  • Day, date and time read back before anything was written
  • Caller corrected it from Tuesday to Wednesday on the call
  • Confirmed detail stored with the booking, not on a sticky note

Some no-shows start on the booking call

A no-show is usually blamed on the customer. Read enough booking calls and a good share of them were never clearly agreed in the first place.

A time gets said once, quickly, at the end of a call. The caller hears Tuesday, the calendar says Wednesday, and neither party finds out until the wrong morning.

Handwritten bookings make it worse. A note gets typed into the system later, and "2" becomes "2:30" or the phone number loses a digit and nobody can ring to check.

GreetKeeper cannot stop somebody changing their mind. It can stop the bookings that were never properly agreed, which is a different problem with a real fix.

The mechanism, not a promise

Three things happen on every booking call. That is all this is.

  1. Say the whole thing back

Day, date and time are read to the caller before the booking is written. Wrong ones get corrected there, while the person is still on the phone.

  2. Confirm the number as well

The contact number is repeated back digit by digit. A booking you cannot ring about is a booking you cannot rescue when something changes.

  3. Write it straight into the calendar

The event is created during the call, with the name, number and reason attached. Nothing sits on paper waiting to be typed up wrong.

  4. Keep the transcript beside it

If somebody claims a different time later, you have what was actually said. That settles the argument without anyone guessing.

What it costs to confirm every booking

Confirming adds seconds to a call, and the plans are priced by call.

PlanMonthlyCalls includedAfter that
StarterFor a single location taking calls one line at a time.$49200$0.45 per call
ProfessionalBooking, routing and transfers included, not an add-on.$149750$0.35 per call
ScaleFor busy phones and longer opening hours.$3492,000$0.25 per call

Starter is $49 a month for 200 answered calls at $0.45 over. Professional is $149 for 750 at $0.35. Scale is $349 for 2,000 at $0.25.

Reading a time back takes maybe fifteen seconds. On a per-minute plan that is a cost you would think about; on a per-call plan it is free, so it happens on every booking.

Booking is included on all three tiers. A plan that cannot book cannot confirm a booking either, which makes the entry tier worth checking on any comparison.

The honest part

Questions people ask

Does GreetKeeper send appointment reminders?

No. It answers inbound calls, so reminders stay with your scheduling software or your own text setup. What it changes is the accuracy of the booking itself.

By how much will my no-shows drop?

We do not know, and we publish no figure because we have not measured one. Anybody quoting you a percentage in this category should be asked for the primary source.

What if a customer says they booked a different time?

You have the transcript of the call, including the moment the time was read back. That usually resolves it in a sentence.

Hear a booking confirmed properly

Fifteen seconds that change the morning.
