Slang.ai review: a restaurant's phone line, priced per location
Slang.ai is an AI phone host built only for restaurants, priced per location. Core starts at $399 a month per location and Premium at $599, with Enterprise quoted. It takes reservations around the clock through OpenTable, SevenRooms and Yelp. Calls it can't answer go to your staff or get a text link.
Restaurant owners usually find Slang.ai when the phone rings through the dinner rush and nobody can grab it. Slang.ai's pitch is "The AI Superhost for Restaurants", and every feature on its pricing page speaks to a dining room. This review reads that page as published on 24 September 2026.
What Slang.ai charges
Slang.ai bills each restaurant location as its own subscription. A group with three locations pays three times the tier price. Its pricing page lists features per tier and no call or minute allowance at any tier. You're paying for the location, not the volume.
| Plan | Monthly | Included | Per call |
|---|---|---|---|
| Core | From $399 per location | No call or minute volume published | Flat per location |
| Premium | From $599 per location | No call or minute volume published | Flat per location |
| Enterprise | On request | Custom workflows and integrations | Quoted by Slang.ai |

Slang.ai's tiers, from reservations to multi-site groups
Core is the whole reservation desk. It covers 24/7 reservation handling, call recordings and summaries, SMS confirmations and links, and VIP call routing for your regulars. It connects to OpenTable, SevenRooms, Yelp and Fishbowl, collects guest satisfaction scores and comes with white-glove support.
Premium is aimed at groups. It can cross-sell a booking to a sister location when one site is full, and it sends real-time alerts and direct texts. You also get custom branding, Spanish-language support and a tagged, prioritised shared inbox. Insights roll up across all your locations.
Enterprise adds custom workflows and integrations, advanced dashboards and dedicated support with regular business reviews.
A reservation call at a Slang.ai restaurant
Slang.ai's pricing page describes how its assistant answers, forwards and follows up. We've laid that out as a Friday-night reservation call. It reflects Slang.ai's published description, not a call we placed ourselves.
Setup takes one short session
Slang.ai says setup needs less than 30 minutes of your time and can go live the same day. The assistant connects to the reservation system you already run.
The guest is greeted and helped
Slang.ai answers every call, day or night, and answers the common questions a host would field, right away.
The table is booked in your reservation book
Through OpenTable, SevenRooms or Yelp, Slang.ai books the reservation and sends the guest an SMS confirmation. On Premium, a full night can be offered at a sister location.
Regulars and hard questions reach staff
VIP routing sends known guests to your team. A question the assistant can't answer is forwarded to a person, or the guest gets a text link with contact details.
Managers get the recording and summary
Each call is recorded and summarised, and satisfaction scores feed Slang.ai's insights. Premium adds real-time alerts and a tagged, prioritised inbox.

The restaurants Slang.ai is built around
Slang.ai fits a full-service restaurant that already takes bookings through OpenTable, SevenRooms or Yelp. That reservation link is the heart of the product.
Premium fits a restaurant group, since cross-selling to sister locations and group-wide insights only matter with more than one site.
It also suits operators who want white-glove support from the start. That support is on every tier, Core included.
GreetKeeper's price for a restaurant's phone
Disclosure: GreetKeeper is our product. GreetKeeper publishes its call allowance on every plan. Starter is $49 for 200 answered calls, Professional $149 for 750, and Scale $349 for 2,000. Past that, calls cost $0.45 down to $0.25 by plan.
Several locations take the Multi-location plan from $299 per location, and each one gets a dedicated local number. Each number keeps its own hours, greeting and calendar.
Friday at 6pm, calls that arrive together are answered at the same time, so nobody queues on hold. You can set closure dates, and GreetKeeper answers as closed on those days, holidays included.
It reads the name, number and time back before it books, and the guest gets one text with the confirmation afterwards. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial, all features on, with no card.
